On Tuesday, April 19th, both the baseball and softball teams had games at LeRoy versus the Panthers.
For the softball team, the LeRoy Panthers started out hot, scoring 15 runs in the first two innings. However, by the 4th inning the Lady Stags finally started to get the bats going. They weren’t able to score enough to keep the game going, but they did manage three runs. The final score after 5 innings was 18-3.
For the baseball team, they fought for 6 innings but still fell 11-1. The ending play was very interesting. The LeRoy player slid into home and was tagged, but since Wyatt was blocking the plate, he was called safe.
