Speech is working on creating and presenting Prevention/ Awareness Weeks. Some of the weeks students selected were Suicide Awareness Week, Sexual Assault Awareness Week, and Cancer Awareness Week, among others. Students had to create a radio or tv ad, posters, t-shirt, daily announcements, and an assembly with speaker. Students came up with some really great ideas and were encouraged to truly present their ideas to the school board for approval.
