Tuesday September 27th the Hartem Volleyball team posed with cows for a Prairie Farms Poster. Yes, actual cows. Prairie Farms Dairy is a dairy cooperative operating out of Carlinville, Illinois. As a dairy cooperative, Prairie Farms receives milk from producers and converts it into many different products. These products include cheese, butter, ice cream, sour cream, cottage cheese, dips, yogurt, and milk.
The Hartem Volleyball team posed with milk cows in an effort to win a Prairie Farms poster contest. With the help of Picture This Photography and Hoerbert Farms, it was possible. All the girls on the team posed outside with adult dairy cows, a calf, and bottles of Prairie Farms chocolate milk. As for the team, it was one of the oddest but neatest things the team has done.
