It’s that time of year again- where leaves shed their hues of lush greens, and opt for more warm, homely shades of reds, browns, and oranges. That’s right, it’s the season of pumpkins, turkey, dead leaves, and candy. Autumn is finally here!
With the change from summer to autumn, there’s a few things HE students may not consider, or just forget altogether. This is your autumn update!
Make sure to start wearing warm clothes: the temperatures are dropping and the winds are kicking up. Keep bundled! The last day students are allowed to wear shorts in school is November 15, so enjoy the option while it lasts.
Watch your health: cold season is almost upon us, and the air is going to be thick with allergens in the coming months. Make sure to wash your hands, and don’t skimp on allergy medication if you need it.
Finally, we’ve got tons of days off, and a few breaks this fall. Here’s a list!
- October 12, Columbus Day
- October 23, Parent- Teacher Conferences
- November 11, Veteran’s Day
- November 25-27, Thanksgiving
Be healthy, keep warm, and welcome to autumn!
