Homecoming Week has come to an end. The Lady Stags end their week 3-0. On
Monday, Hartsburg-Emden rolled through Warrensburg Lathem 25-14 and 25-18. Tuesday, the
Stags travelled to West Prairie and faced a tough match. They ended up winning a 3 set
match 25-19, 17-25, and 26-24. Both games were important, but the Stags were focusing on
Thursday’s game against rival, Mt. Pulaski the most. The Homecoming Game took place at
Hartsburg-Emden on September 24th. The gym was packed and the Stags yet again, came out
with a win after a thrilling 3 set match. The final scores were 25-18, 23-25, and 25-23. The
volleyball team now has an impressive 11-2 record. Now that the Homecoming Week has
ended, the students look forward to the Homecoming Dance this Saturday and the team looks
forward to games next week versus Williamsville and Dee-Mack. Good Luck Stags!
