On November 11th there will be no school because it's Veterans Days! Veterans Day is a day where people celebrate those who were in the war. The grade school has had an assembly for many years now. This year's assembly is on November 6th at 1:00. The kids get to practice songs and perform them. They are having a guest speaker come to speak about his experiences from the military. The kids also make pictures and cards for the veterans that attend the assembly and for the veterans in the Danville Veterans Hospital. They collect military info and names and create a Wall of Honor. They also get small donations and give it to the Land of Lincoln Honor Flight.
