The varsity game was intense. The team was led by sophomore Anna Hayes (13 kills, 3 aces, and 3 solo-blocks), freshman Sami Perschall (5 kills), senior Ashley Zinser (4 kills), Junior Shyanne Conrady (2 kills, 4 blocks), sophomore Lexi Barry (2 kills), freshman Emily Craig (4 digs), senior Maddie Shawgo (1 dig, 1 ace), and junior Kassy Eskew (16 assists). The score of the first game was 25-23 and the second game was 25-15.
The Junior Varsity team was led by Abbie Hoebert (sophomore), Ivy Merz (sophomore), Sami Perschall (freshman), Emily Craig (freshman), Olivia Garcia (freshman), and Mia Young (freshman). The score of the first game was (25-13) and the second game was (25-21).
Sophomore Anna Hayes : “It was a nerve wracking game, our first home game in front of a big crowd. We played our hearts out, but there is more left in the tank.”
